3-Hour Roman Baroque Caput Mundi Walking Tour

Enjoy a tour visiting the Squares, Fountains, Palaces and Churches built during the Baroque period, when several artists as Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Francesco Borromini, Pietro Da Cortona and others so much contributed to create this style in Rome in the 17th and 18th century.

Our Rome Baroque walking tours are through the historical centre of Rome as Piazza del Popolo, The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via del Corso, the Power Palaces of Piazza Colonna , the Pantheon and Navona Square and others beautiful areas, built when the city was the heart of arts.

Make your way to Piazza del Popolo, where you'll find the beautiful Chiesa di Santa Maria del Popolo, among the most interesting churches in Rome, full of artwork by Raphael and Caravaggio.

From there, continue to the Spanish Steps whose sinuous line follows the slope of the hill: at its feet is the graceful La Barcaccia fountain by Pietro Bernini, and you'll find the Trinità dei Monti church at the top.

You'll see Trevi Fountain, the most spectacular fountain in Rome, and walk the Via del Corso to the Piazza Colonna, the Colonna Gallery, Montecitorio Palace, and the headquarters of the Chamber of Deputies.

Stop at the Pantheon to see the best preserved ancient monument in Rome, with a wonderful fountain designed by Giacomo Della Porta.

This 3-hour Rome Baroque tour ends at Piazza Navona, home to the amazing Fontana Dei Quattro Fiumi by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who designed it as a base for an Egyptian Obelisk.
