About: Drive the explorer car around the city and see the sights with Google Maps and Street View.
This project is a prototype so it may contain bugs and will change over time.
In this version you have a vehicle which follows the route of a city tour.
Places: The places on the map were discovered using ChatGPT and the locations may not always be accurate.
Routes: The routes taken do not take into account one-way streets so should not be used as a real-world route finder.
Controls: Use the dashboard to control the vehicle speed and map zoom level. Also you can use the keyboard: 'W' to accelerate and 'S' to decelerate.
Camera:The camera is fixed when the vehicle is moving. When the vehicle stops you can pan around the map. To adjust the camera hold the shift key and the left mouse button down and move the mouse.
Navigation: When the car is stopped the navigation route is visible. You can right-click on a map location to plot a new route to travel to (this replaces the current route).
